About TAMICO
We are delighted that you have decided to be a Member of Tanzania Mines, Energy, Construction and Allied Workers’ Union (TAMICO). This website describes in detail, the range of our different activities, functions and events. TAMICO is a unique and democratic Trade Union in Tanzania founded in 1995 and registered in accordance with the Trade Unions Act No.10 of 1998 as amended by ELRA No. 6 of 2004 and later amended with Employment and Labor Relations Act [Cap.366 R.E 2019], which is affiliated to the national center that is the Trade Union Congress of Tanzania (TUCTA) and organize members from the Mines, Energy, Construction and Allied sectors. The Head Office of the Union is located in Dar es Salaam City and has offices in Northern, Southern-highlands, Lake Zone, Western, Coastal and Central zones with 11200+ active members across the country. The Union is running according to its constitution, regulations and it adhere to principles of good governance, labor standards and maintains Trade Union democracy.
